Health and Safety

The health and safety of our employees is our number one priority.    Environmental and Industrial services can be inherently dangerous work and therefore requires that we all consistently adhere to safety rules and regulations on a daily basis.  All employees have completed mandatory training, follow all regulatory guidelines, and adhere to all rules and laws relating to the safety performance of the job.

Safety Responsibility

The safety of every employee at the Company is a matter of great importance to us.  We do not want to allow any hazardous situations to exist and we (as a company) will take immediate steps to correct any which are brought to management's attention.   The toll-free confidential phone number to anonymously report safety concerns is 866-708-1917.

Accident prevention is considered everyone's responsibility.  Every employee must share in the responsibility of safety. This responsibility covers all employees from top levels of management, to supervisors, and hourly employees.

A Safety Committee has been established to implement and ensure compliance with safety rules and to investigate all accidents and reports of unsafe practices.  The safety committee conducts a formal documented meeting every month to discuss, review, and update the safety program.

The personal safety and health of each employee is of primary importance.  The prevention of occupationally induced injury and illness will always be given precedence over operating productivity when necessary.  To the greatest degree possible, management will provide all mechanical and physical facilities required for personal safety and health, in keeping with the highest standards.

We maintain a safety and health program conforming to the best practices of organizations of this type.  To be successful, such a program must embody the proper attitudes towards injury and illness prevention on the part of all employees.

Our objective is a safety and health program that will reduce the number of injuries to a minimum.  Our goal is ZERO accidents and injuries.  Our safety program includes:

  • Providing mechanical and physical safeguards to the maximum extent possible.
  • Teaching the importance and use of engineering controls and work practices to our employees through our training materials/hazard assessments.
  • Conducting documented safety inspections to identify and remove unsafe working conditions or practices; to control health hazards, and to fully comply with the safety regulations for every job.
  • Promoting safety awareness through postings, barricading, safety bulletins and safety handouts to our employees
  • Training employees in all elements of the safety program and good safety practices and soliciting input from our employees on other training and ideas that could better equip them for possible hazards they may face.
  • Providing all necessary personal protective equipment that is accessible to our employees 24 hours / 7 days a week and instructions for use and care through training.
  • Enforcing safety rules, requiring that employees cooperate with these rules as a condition of employment
  • Investigating; promptly and thoroughly, every accident to determine the root cause and how to correct the problem so it will not happen again through the use of our accident/investigation policy and reporting system.
